This excellent hotel only opened in November 2017 and is also a school to train young people to work in the hotel industry, supported by three Swiss companies who help the youngsters find work at the end of their nine month training. It was by far the most comfortable and pleasant stay we could imagine. The beds are very new and comfortable with fresh white cotton sheets and good pillows. The en suite bathroom had a better shower than I have at home, powerful pressure and always hot water.
The room is cleaned daily and the whole hotel is pristine. Breakfast is included in the price and the chef checked with us what we might like and consequently made fantastic porridge and parathas or puris each day. The staff are friendly and attentive, but never over bearing, and we felt well looked after there.
It does cost more than many of the other local hotels, but was worth the money, and compared to UK prices it was very cheap still. After the madness and noise of Bodhgaya it was such a treat to return to the relative quiet and cleanliness of the hotel each day. I really recommend it wholeheartedly.
